Lists and Ungodly Temps

I used to write lists every once in a blue moon.
Then I got pregnant.

Hello Glorious-Power-of-the-Written-To-Do-List.  Where have you been all my life?!

If you were to step into my kitchen, you would find one massive Pre-Baby List taped the our refrigerator.   It's completion is the Holy Grail I am chasing after in these last six weeks before D-Day.  And crossing things off is such a highlight of my life right now, that I almost had a minor panic attack after I sewed the curtain for Baby's micro-nursery and couldn't find it on my list.  Lord have mercy if it's not on the list to be crossed off.  Because of course that would hardly even count as an accomplishment without it.  Thankfully it was just written under an unlikely heading on the far right side of the sheet.

So yep.  That's pretty much the excitement of our life right now.

Curtain sewing.
Closet organizing.
More list making.
Chocolate chip cookie making.
Baby clothes thrifting.
Bus driving.

Ok.  That last bit isn't exactly true.  It was 9 degrees this morning when we got up.  Nine degrees?!  Do you know how much chunkier I look with 57 layers of clothes on?!  It should be a crime to work in that kind of weather.

The happy thought I keep reminding myself of is that each day I'm one day closer to 

never getting up to drive a frosty cold bus again.

Instead I'll be waking up a thousand times a night to feed my crying baby.

But at a nine degree, zero-dark-thirty, that sounds pretty amazing.
